Hello Again, Fellow Alums -
We have them coming from Ohio, Maryland, Texas, Connecticut, New Mexico, and far-away East Meadow. I'm happy to say that our Multi-Year Alumni Dance is definitely ON, with well over 200 people responding so far.
The cost of admission is $25 per person. It's too late to collect in advance. The last date we collected was May 6 in order to make appropriate food orders. If you have to arrive without pre-paying, please e-mail or leave a message if you possibly can.
So many people have arranged their schedules to make it to Division once more, flying in from the coast, arranging for sitters, scheduling pre-parties with old friends. Please consider coming to our alumni gathering and sharing some memories -- we will all be happy to see you. Below, I've included a listing of alums who have responded, grouped by graduation year. I know a lot of people want to see who's coming. Please keep in mind this list was current as of March 31.
There will be a number of semi-official events that weekend that you may be interested in. A number of our graduates are planning a memorial dedication to our late Coach Jim Amen on the afternoon of May 21st. Also, Don Davidson, whose band Blacklight will be playing for us on May 21st, has asked me to let you know that he will be hosting an alumni gathering at Classics Sports Bar in Levittown on the evening of May 20th from 9pm-2am ($10.00 cover) for those of us who are in the area, or arriving early. We can't serve alcohol on school grounds on the 21st, but I'm sure you can find a pint or a dram at Classics with many of the people you'll return to Division with on the 21st. Thanks, Don!
On, the 21st, please look forward to tours of the school to see the latest remodeling jobs completed, a walk down memory lane, a light dinner, music and dancing courtesy of Blacklight (Don Davidson, class of 1975 and company), Afterglow DJ, and (1967) Bob Hallett's one-man show Oldies But Goodies, and a chance to catch up with old friends.
